2005 Season - Week 5

This Sunday at BUMS HQ from 3pm we get the chance to sort out the wheat from the chaff and to shoot the walking wounded. If you want to change players but can’t attend let me know whether you will email your trade plans through or whether you will be available at the other end of the phone. Cheryl will be doing food so please let me know if you are attending by Saturday morning so she can do the shopping. To assist with your plans I have attached the original player prices again together with the list of new players available. Trading Order Paul will cut his players first followed by Wayne, (USA-USA), Ron, Cheryl, Dave G, Aaron, Andy H/John, David S, Phil, Mark, Johnny, Daz/Gareth, AP and finally Marcus. The order between Andy H & John, and Daz & Gareth will be decided by the toss of a coin. After all players have been dropped we will go into a draft mode and Paul will select one player followed by Wayne etc etc until all rosters are full again. Remember if you cut a Franchise Player you still have to pay him until his Franchise Contract is over. A Bad Day for Running Backs Sunday saw a lot of injuries to the men who pound the rock. At Lambeau Field The Packers Najeh Davenport scored twice in the first half whilst filling in for the inactive Ahman Green, before breaking his ankle and being placed on the IR. In the same game New Orleans Deuce McAllister was lost for the season. Both the Jones brothers, Julius in Dallas and Thomas in Chicago left their games early with injuries and Corey Dillon left New England’s victory in Atlanta early with an injury. In Tampa Bay Cadillac Williams didn’t even dress, missing his first start after the 3 greatest games a rookie running back has ever had. BUMS on Seats. So we will be HQ from 3pm on Sunday to trade, eat, and watch the very funny NFL Films “Obscure Trivia Challenge” followed by Sky’s doubleheader of Miami @ Tampa Bay and NY Jets @ Buffalo.
